- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Today is Saturday July 15th it is 3:30 p.m. I have tried to call the police department at least 20 times for over an hour about a break in, each time it rings nonstop for 2 minutes and then hangs up. It should be easier to reach our Police.By Aleksey Panasyuk, July 16, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I went to file a complaint about some harassment , they wouldn't even write a police report it escalated to stalking. I still cant get them to even write up a report. I used to teach my kids that the police were the good guys I don't anymore.By Kiomara Blanco, March 06, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Very professional! If you have any questions or concerns about living in Utica, just call up the supervisors and they will get to you with courtesy and dilligence. They really do try the best they can to be a modern, top-notch police department. Chief Mark Williams deserves a lot of credit... especially since he started with an organization that had a decades-long history of corruption, most recently epitomized by detective-turned-suicidal-murderer Joseph Longo and his enablers, former Police Chief Daniel LaBella (Longo's former partner) and officer Kate Zalewski (Longo's purported lover, prior to Longo stabbing-to-death his estranged wife and then stabbing himself). There was a boatload of crud for new Chief Williams to deal with -- not just in regard to the murderer Longo, but in a lot of other less-dramatic respects too...
